What a great find! As a Coeliac who's been contaminated by gluten badly, my anxiety is high when I eat out. So far we have been here twice, lovely food, good size servings and friendly service. I did confirm with them that there were no Oats on the menu as I there was a typo which I assume is from their other sites menu which read Oat Milk (all other locations aren't all GF but have Coeliac safe options), however just incase anyone else was worried like me the Phillip location is definitely free from Oats and Oat Milk and staff dont bring in outside food for lunches. We will be back again and would recommend if you are looking for a meal where you can just order without asking all the questions you have to being Coeliac. š

What an awesome Cafe, was able to come here with my daughters and get anything we wanted in the place because its all gluten free š we even got things for dinner...
The food is delicious and fresh, the service was lovely and my 9 year old couldn't stop smiling and couldn't believe she could choose anything she wanted because everything is gluten free. But you wouldn't even no it was gluten free, so if your in the neighbourhood its worth a visit either way because its just good quality food and service.
The only negative is parking BUT with a super short walk from a car park..

We visited here for Fatherās Day, and reserved a table. The food being 100% gluten free was so awesome! We didnāt wait long for the food to arrive at the table and it was delicious. The staff were friendly, and very helpful. There was a moment where you could tell reservations were taken with no room to fit them, but they made it work and problem-solved efficiently through the Fatherās Day crowd. You canāt fault a place for being so delicious that itās popular! 10/10 will visit here and eat again!

Grace and Passan and Jibon were serving excellent food and vibes today. I am so sad that I don't live in Canberra anymore. Words I never thought I would type. Just had the best breakfast, Green eggs and smoky beans, the beans were amazing and the eggs were kindly swapped out for a tofu scramble. I highly recommend brunch at the Phillip store. I will definitely be back next time I'm here. Also, try the beetroot latte. So good, it even tastes pink (in a good way)

Anyone who says āgluten free food is badā needs to sit down and have the eggs Benedict on a croissant at 80/20 in Phillip.
That croissant had absolutely no business being that good. Crispy, buttery, eggs perfectly done, and not a sad, crumbly gluten free substitute in sight.
Honestly, if they hadnāt told me it was gluten free, I wouldāve assumed gluten was in there doing overtime.
10/10. Would let this eggs Benedict challenge my entire belief system again.

Pasan consistently and effortlessly delivers awesome service and makes a great coffee. When Iām in Canberra, this is where I grab my morning coffee every day.
This cafe is also my goto comfort place as a celiac. Itās rare I can go to eat out and not have to wonder what is safe on the menu and what isnāt. I donāt need to be that annoying person asking a million questions to the staff - huge blessing for all involved š

As a coeliac, this food was amazing and made my day. Itās good to know that many people in Australia care about coeliacs and gluten-free food. The workers were amazing, and even though it is a very small place, the atmosphere was so friendly and vibe-y. There is a freezer that has a lot of gf pastries, breads and normally gluten-containing products, but all are gluten free. Itās actually surprising that my sisters ate all their food, itās amazing! Highly recommend this to fellow coeliac people.

Can't be thankful enough I found this cafe. With scarce brekkie options that cater to the allergen needs for my children I were given so many choices to endeavour from!! Thank you to the lovely souls that assisted us with a million questions to make sure dietary requirements were met - Prasan, Grace and Giban(the chef - sorry if I misspelt your name). I could easily give them more than just 5 stars!

EightyTwenty cafe has a pleasant and quiet atmosphere, with simple decor and great cafe food. Their brekkie burger with grilled haloumi and hash brown is amazing and the coffee is consistently of a great quality. My wife also enjoyed her iced mocha which came with ice cream and was both smooth and sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cafe in Phillip and especially if you live in one of the nearby complexes.

Christmas day, out on a walk and discovered the Eighty Twenty Cafe in Phillip,and was very impressed with their service, coffee and very relaxing environment. Definitely going to enjoy many more coffees and gluten free food in 2026..

As a vegan with coeliac disease, finding completely safe food can be incredibly stressful, but this 100% gluten-free cafe makes it easy. I am absolutely thrilled that the vegan buckwheat waffles are back on the menu! It is so rare to find options that cater to both of my dietary needs so perfectly. Thank you for providing such safe and delicious food for our community. Highly recommend!

A corner of Gluten Free heaven where the biggest challenge is deciding what to choose. So nice to find a place that is 100% Gluten Free with great tasting food, a range of options and a freezer full of goodies to take home too. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and service is prompt. Filling my bags to go home and will definitely be making this a regular when I'm in town.

Absolutely amazing!! To be able to order and eat without being worried about the food being celiac safe was such a wonderful experienceā¦ and not having to pay extra for gf option was so lovely!!
The food was absolutely delicious especially the sour dough.
The menu was also well priced.
Highly recommend to all celiacs!!

My observational skills might come into disrepute but I didnt realise this was a totally gluten free cafe. Even after eating an entire breakfast with gluten free sourdough.
Everything was very tasty and the service was excellent. The staff were smiling, happy and helpful.
Coffee was on point too.

Great food, lovely staff, I come here almost every month during the weekend and it's never too busy which is nice. The service is fast and efficient, and I love how it's a fully coeliac kitchen. I do wish there was a nicer outside area for seating however I still love the place

This place is exceptional in every way! They have THE best coffee in the area, the food is divine and the staff are wonderful, inviting and friendly which just adds to the whole experience! I come here regularly and it is always the same, honestly an awesome place to sit in or takeaway!

Phenomenal gluten free food, especially their pastry - I had previously given up on finding gluten free pastry this good after learning I had a gluten allergy because it is SO hard to find. Lovely coffee and great baristas and service, and their gluten free shop products are also amazing!

We stayed in Phillip for a week and had our first coffee here. By far the best coffee weāve had so far. Friendly service with a smile and beautiful coffee art. You can really see the pride and care that goes into every cup. Highly recommend! ā

I came to 80/20 Phillip for lunch with my family during the week. The food was delicious and the service was lovely and efficient.
My aunt is coeliac and it was pleasant and reassuring to have an array of food safe for her to eat.
Definetly recommend!

I'm so thrilled there is a 100 per cent gluten free bakery in Woden now. I used to always drive to the northside to go to the Belconnen one. Excellent food, coffee and service. This place doesn't get much foot traffic so spread the word. The food is sooo good.

A happy discovery within walking distance of my new home. A selection of fresh, delicious brunch options to suit everyone. Very impressed with the displays of Gluten-Free baked goods, both cake to have with a coffee, and take-home pies, pizza and bread grocery secton.

Double shit latte anyone? If your looking for a great coffee eighty twenty have you covered. I have been coming here for my regular coffee over the last 6 weeks and every coffee I receive has been very consistent! Food looks amazing too.

Having a coeliac friendly cafe near home is a dream come true! We always get greeted with a smile and the food is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cosy cafe! And you dont have to be coeliac or eat gluten free, their food tastes just like normal š
